پنجم مهر 1360 – 27سپتامبر: اولين بارى كه شعار مرگ بر خمينى در ايران طنين‌افكن شد
مهر سال 1360 براى اولين بار ميليشياى مجاهد خلق شعار مرگ بر خمينى را به ميان تودههاى مردم برد. در اين روز واحدهاى ميليشياى مجاهد خلق, در نقاط مختلف تهران به خيابانها ريختند و شعار مرگ بر خمينى را به ميان تودههاى مردم بردند و بت خمينى دجال را كه زمانى عكس خود را در ماه نشان مىداد، شكستند. به‌يمن پاكبازى بى‌نظير مجاهدين و ميليشياى قهرمان, تصوير كريهترين و خونريزترين ديكتاتور معاصر در چهره منحوس خمينى به مردم ايران نشان داده شد. 5مهر محل بروز فرياد خشمآلود ملت ايران بود كه از گلوى فرزندان دلاورش، خيانت عيان خمينى به انقلاب و آرمان آزادى واستقلال مردم را محكوم مى‌كرد. آن روز صدها رزمنده جان‌بركف و ميليشياى پاكباز مجاهد، با جسارتى ستودنى در خيابانها رودرروى پاسداران مسلح خمينى خروشيدند و با شعار مرگ بر خمينى، زنده باد آزادى, سنگفرش خيابانها را با خون خود رنگين كردند.
درگذشت مادر مجاهد، محترم ایجه ای، مادر کوشالی
با نهایت تأسف و تألم، خبر درگذشت مادر مجاهد، محترم ایجه ای، مادر کوشالی، مادر دلاور پنج شهید مجاهد خلق را به اطلاع عموم می رسانیم.
مادر قهرمان مجاهد، مادر کوشالی که طی دوران مبارزه با رژیم آخوندی، پابه پای فرزندان مجاهدش در تمامی صحنه های رزم حضور فعال داشت، بعد از شهادت ۴ پسر و عروسش به دست دژخیمان آخوندی، در کنار دیگر مجاهدان به رزم بی امان خود علیه رژیم ادامه داد وی در افشاگریها، تحصنها و تظاهرات خانواده های اشرفیان و شهیدان مجاهد همواره و در تمامی صحنه ها در صف اول حاضر بود و با رشادت از حقوق فرزندان خود دفاع می کرد.
درگذشت این مادر بزرگوار را به فرزندانش به ویژه به خواهر مجاهد نسرین کوشالی در شهر اشرف و دیگر قهرمانان شهر شرف، هم چنین به کلیه دوستان و اعضای مقاومت و مادران شهیدان تسلیت می گوییم.
مراسم خاکسپاری آن مرحوم، روز سه شنبه، ۶مهر ساعت ۱۳ در قبرستان سرژی برگزار می شود از عموم هموطنان دعوت می کنیم که در این مراسم شرکت کنند.

Rajai Shahr Prison | Arzhang Davoudi Writes Letter to the Freedom-Seeking People of the World
Two months have passed since Arzhang Davoudi began his hunger strike at Rajai Shahr (I.e. Gohardasht) prison that has now resulted in the severe deterioration of his health. Recently his wife Nazanin Davoudi and some human rights organizations reported that Arzhang Davoudi’s physical state is critical, and according to the Committee of Human Rights Reporters, sources inside Iran say he is near death. Prison officials are currently in the process of pressuring Arzhang Davoudi, while he is hardly able to speak or open his eyes, to sign a waiver form that will lift all responsibility, in the case of his death as a result of hunger strike, from the staff at the prison clinic. Arzhang Davoudi has continuously refused to sign and insists to remain on hunger strike until all his demands are met.
On September 15, 2010, the Committee of Human Rights Reporters released a letter Arzhang Davoudi wrote addressed to the freedom-seeking people of the world. The letter includes statements by prison officials on the 57 year old teacher’s legal case and situation.

Honorable compatriots,
International human rights organizations
With sincere gratitude to all, who throughout my hunger strike, have been supportive of my basic demands for human rights and who have stood by my family’s side. I would like to inform everyone of the following:
1. The prison physician is imposing conditions in exchange for my treatment. I am asked to sign a consent [form] that would give the prison clinic immunity in case of any “unexpected” outcomes. In other words, he wants me to sign off my own death sentence!
2. The prison nurse unethically records bogus blood pressure results like 110/80 mmHg (systolic/diastolic pressure) while a sphygmomanometer belonging to another inmate reads my blood pressure as 75/60 mmHg!
3. The head of the prison ward dismissively says, “The hunger strike is illegal!”
4. The head of prison security says, “Your demands are rational, but break your hunger strike and confirm it in a letter so that we can start responding and transmitting your lengthy demands to the higher authorities little at a time!”
5. The ward guards believe that so many people have died in [Rajai Shahr] prison so [my] death would be just another one for them!
6. The internal manager of the prison says, “As if we forced him to go on hunger strike — he should go and eat food!”
7. The judiciary representative of the prison keeps quiet about the investigation order by the prosecutor, probably because he believes that these kinds of orders are only made to amend the damage to the image of the prison and are “only” formalities, thus not serious!
8. The judiciary assistant of the prison who had illegally agreed to my transfer to Rajai Shahr prison on April 27, 2008 claims that since I am a prisoner of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, my case does not concern the Karaj territory, and thereby accepts no responsibility in my case.
9. The manager of the prison charges, “Right now we are in power and we will act as we wish. If someone is able to take over the government they would then be free to do whatever they wanted.”
10. The chief director of the prison’s office requested from the head of the prison to arrange a visit for me with my family. He did not agree to it and replied instead, “Let us first teach him a lesson to make him end his hunger strike!”
11. The Judge at the Revolutionary Court says, “We should send him back into exile at Bandar Abbas prison, so that maybe he will behave.”
12. The judge in branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court says of me, “He is an anti-revolutionary!”
13. The Deputy Security Chief says, “Since his family speaks to the foreign media, they should take their demands to them as well!”
14. The Director General for Civil Rights says, “With regards to the rights of this prisoner, many violations were committed, but we can’t do anything about it!”
15. A Prosecutor law enforcement of court says, “The violations of the rights of this prisoner and his family are confirmed, but as long as the judiciary authorities are not impeached it means they are still immune and we cannot try them.”
16. The regime’s leader [Khamenei] says, “Prophet Mohammad would not give any trophies to those who did not fight along his side in the battles.” This [according to Khamenei] means that whoever is not a voice for the regime’s propaganda does not have a right to exist or work!
Freedom lovers of the world,
Can human rights be respected by such a government?
Can a regime whose leaders talk about wiping out a country that is a member of the United Nations be trusted to respect the rights of prisoners, especially the rights of political prisoners?
Is a regime, where the black and white turbans of the governing entities are the indicators of discrimination within its higher levels, be capable of recognizing and respecting the rights of its citizens?
Does a 64[+] day hunger strike by a 57 year old political prisoner not touch every free-minded person around the world? Does the negligence by prison physicians and authorities not shock them?
Now that I have begun my 65th day of hunger strike, I wish to honor the memory of all of the martyrs of the path to the freedom of humanity. I would like to insistently ask all of the free-minded, progressive, and liberal people of the world, the world’s human rights organizations, particularly the Human Rights Council of the United Nations and especially his Excellency Ban Ki-moon, to require from the governing regime of Iran to recognize and abide by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; otherwise, suspend the Iranian regime’s seat in the United Nations.
Until my last breath I will be insisting on the ideals of the 200-year-old democratic and freedom-seeking movement of Iran.

ضمن قدردانی از تمامی آنانی که در طول اعتصاب غذای من تا کنون از خواسته های حداقلی و حقوق بشری اینجانب پشتیبانی کرده و با خانواده ام همدردی داشته اند موارد زیر را به اطلاع همگان می رسانم:
1.پزشک زندان برای معالجه اینجانب شرط و شروط می گذارد و از من می خواهد متنی را امضا کنم که در صورت بروز هرگونه حادثه سوء ، بری الذمه باشد. یعنی می خواهد که عملا حکم قتل خود را امضا نمایم !؟
2.پرستار زندان متقلبانه فشار خون مرا 10 بر روی 8 گزارش می کند در حالیکه دستگاه فشار خون ….. متعلق به یک زندانی آن را 7.5 روی 6 نشان می دهد !؟
3.رئیس بند با بی تفاوتی محض به همین اکتفا می کند که بگوید اعتصاب غذا غیرقانونی است !؟
4.رئیس حفاظت زندان می گوید خواسته هایت منطقی است ولی اعتصاب را بشکن و آن را مکتوب کن تا ما بتوانیم نرم نرمک خواسته های کشدارت را رسیدگی کرده و به مقامات بالاتر منعکس کنیم !؟
5.پاسدار بند می گوید این همه آدم در این زندان مرده اند این هم یکی دیگر روی بقیه !؟
6.مدیر داخلی زندان می گوید مگر ما گفتیم که غذا نخورد برود غذایش را بخورد !؟
7.دادیار زندان دستور رسیدگی به موضوع از سوی دادستانی را مسکوت می گذارد زیرا که حتما اینگونه دستورات را صوری و فرمایشی می داند !؟
8.معاون قضایی زندان که در تاریخ 8/2/87 به طرزی غیرقانونی با پذیرش من در زندان رجایی شهر موافقت کرده می گوید که چون زندانی انقلاب تهران هستم ربطی به حوزه کرج ندارد و بدین طریق از خود سلب مسئولیت می کند !؟
9.مدیر زندان می گوید فعلا ما حکومت می کنیم و هرطور دلمان بخواهد تصمیم می گیریم اگر اینها – زندانیان سیاسی – توانستند حکومت را از ما بگیرند هر چه خواستند بکنند!؟
10.مدیر کل زندان ها از مدیر زندان می خواهد که ترتیب ملاقات با خانواده ام را بدهد ولی مدیر زندان موافقت نمی کند و می گوید فعلا بگذاریم تا خوب تنبیه شود و مجبور شود اعتصابش را بشکند !؟
11. قاضی ناظر دادگاه انقلاب می گوید باید دوباره اورا به زندان بندر عباس تبعید کنیم شاید اینبار آدم شود !؟
12.قاضی شعبه 26 دادگاه انقلاب می گوید این آدم … و ضد انقلاب است !؟
13.معاونت امنیت میگوید خانواده اش با رسانه های خارجی مصاحبه می کنند، برود خواسته هایش را از آنها بخواهد !؟
14.مدیرکل حقوق شهروندی میگوید در رابطه با این زندانی تخلفات عدیده ای صورت پذیرفته است ولی کاری از ما برنمی آید !؟
15. دادسرای انتظامی قضات میگوید تخلفات نسبت به این زندانی و خانواده اش محرز است ولی مادامی که سلب مصونیت نشده باشد نمیتوان مقامات قضایی را محاکمه کرد !؟
16. ورهبر رژیم میگوید پیغمبر (ص) در غزوات به آنها که در کنار او نجنگیده بودند از غنایم چیزی نمیداد یعنی هر که برای رژیم حاکم جار نمی زند و گلو پاره نمیکند حق حیات و معاش ندارد!؟
17….و…و…
آزادگان جهان
آیا میتوان رعایت حقوق بشر را از صدر تا ذیل کارگزاران چنین حکومتی انتظار داشت!؟
آیا به رژیمی که سران و رهبران آن به دنبال محو یک کشور عضو سازمان ملل از صفحه روزگار است میتوان اعتماد کرد که حقوق زندانیان به ویژه زندانیان سیاسی را محترم بشمارد!؟
آیا رژیمی که در آن عمامه های سیاه وسفید نشانه بارز اعمال تبعیض میان سطوح بالای حکومتگران است میتواند مردم عادی را به حساب بیاورد و به حقوق شهروندی آنان اندک اعتنایی داشته باشد!؟
آیا 64 روز اعتصاب غذای یک زندانی 57 ساله دل هر آزاده ای را در هر گوشه دنیا به درد نمی آرد و بی توجهی مفرط مسئولین زندان و پزشکان و … آنها را مات و متحیر نمی سازد!؟
اینک که وارد شصت و پنجمین روز اعتصاب غذا شده ام به تمامی جانباختگان راه آزادی بشر درود می فرستم و از آزادگان جهان ، انسان های دمکرات منش ، نهادهای حقوق بشری بخصوص شورای حقوق بشر سازمان ملل بویژه شخص دبیرکل ، جناب آقای بان کی مون مصرانه می خواهم که رژیم حاکم بر ایران را ملزم به رعایت اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر نماید و در غیر اینصورت کرسی نمایندگی آن را در سازمان ملل به تعلیق درآورد.
اینجانب نیز تا پای جان برسر آرمان های 200 ساله آزادی خواهی و دمکراسی خواهی در ایران پای می فشارم.

The PetitionDear Member of the United Nations; In the name of humanity, and in keeping with your obligations to the UN Charter of Human Rights, We the undersigned ask that you take a stand against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the head of a regime that has consistently repressed the Iranian people, that is in flagrant violation of UN resolutions, that has supported international terrorism and endangered world peace. We the undersigned request that you refuse to honor Ahmadinejad’s presence at the UN by boycotting his speech to the General Assembly. This act will reaffirm your rejection of violence and repression against millions of Iranian people. It will also be a message to the Iranian people that they are not alone in their quest for freedom and justice. It will show the world that members of the United Nations are truly committed to the humanitarian principles underlying the creation of this respectable body – that incarceration without cause, torture and murder of innocent people, and atrocities of any kind will not be tolerated by the international community. As legitimate representative of your people, we urge you to walk out of the General Assembly when Ahmadinejad mounts the podium to address the delegates. Thank you.

Arzhang Davoudi who has been on hunger strike for over two months, and as a result is hardly able to speak or open his eyes, was transferred to the clinic at Rajai Shahr prison on September 14, 2010.
Despite Arzhang Davoudi's extremely severe condition, at the clinic he was placed under pressure to sign a form which would assign him all responsibilities for the consequences of his hunger strike. He refused to sign the form while insisting to continue his hunger strike until all his demands are met.
Arzhang Davoudi went on hunger strike over two months ago in protest to the denial of his right to make a phone call and the stalling of his lawsuit against Ali Hajkazem, the director of Rajai Shahr prison. Davoudi has also stated that if his case regarding taking back his home and stopping his family from becoming homeless does not move forward, he would take his case to international tribunals.
The Davoudi home was confiscated and sold by the judiciary on the order of Judge Haddad who was presiding over the case at the time. Sometime ago, Arzhang's wife Nazanin Davoudi stated in an interview with Radio Farda, "Our home was our place of residence and a school where the cultural-educational center of Parto-e Hekmat was located. There were students studying at this place, but the residence was confiscated and its doors were sealed."
Arzhang Davoudi was arrested and has been in prison since November 9, 2003 on charges of "acting against national security" and writing the "Manifesto of Secular Iranians."

فشار بر ارژنگ داوودی برای قبول عواقب اعتصاب غذایش
کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر-ارژنگ داوودی پس از گذشت بیش ازدو ماه از اعتصاب غذا در حالیکه به سختی قادر به تکلم و گشودن پلک هایش می باشد صبح امروز به بهداری زندان رجایی شهر منتقل شد
با وجود شرایط به شدت نامناسب ارژنگ داودی در بهداری زندان رجایی شهر، ایشان تحت فشار قرار می گیرند تا فرمی را امضا کنندکه مسئولیت عواقب ادامه اعتصاب غذا را به عهده وی قرار می دهد.ایشان با تاکید بر ادامه اعتصاب تا رسیدن به تمام خواسته هایشان از امضای این فرم خودداری ورزیدند.
ارژنگ داوودی بیش از دو ماه پیش در اعتراض به قطع تلفن ها و عدم رسیدگی به شکایتیش از حاج کاظم رئیس زندان رجایی شهر، در اعتصاب غذا به سر می برد. این زندانی سیاسی همچنین عنوان نموده است در صورتی که برای باز پس گیری منزل و جلوگیری از آوارگی خانواده اش به شکایتش رسیدگی نشود به مراجع بین المللی شکایت خواهد کرد.
گفتنی است که منزل ارژنگ داوودی از سوی قوه قضاییه با حکم قاضی وقت پرونده، آقای حداد، مصادره و به فروش رسیده است.همسر ارژنگ داوودی چندی پیش در مصاحبه با رادیو فردا در رابطه با این مسئله گفته بود که "منزل ما هم محل سکونت بود و هم مدرسه. مدرسه‌ای که مجتمع فرهنگی و آموزشی«پرتو حکمت» درآن قرار داشت و محل تحصیل دانش آموزان بود، که پلمب شد."
ارژنگ داوودی در تاریخ 18 آبان سال ۸۲ تحت عنوان اقدام علیه امنیت ملی و نوشتن مانیفست سکولار ایرانیان دستگیر شد و تاکنون در زندان به سر می برد.

Arzhang Davoudi launched his hunger strike to protest the great pressures inflicted on him. His demands include [rights] to standard telephone conversations and visitation. He also demands that his complaint against the head of Rajai Shahr prison Ali Hajkazem be investigated. Arzhang Davoudi also stressed that his confiscated house should immediately be returned to him by the judiciary so that his family is not stranded.
His health is in critical condition and he needs immediate medical attention outside the prison. We also demand that his family's home is returned to them.
We the undersigned strongly condemn the imprisonment of Arzhang Davoudi and call upon the international community and human rights organizations to take actions for his immediate and unconditional release.

September 15, 2010: Arzhang Davoudi has entered his 64th day of hunger strike. His health is severely critical. It is reported that the risk of death for this educator is high.
Arzhang Davoudi is hardly able to speak or open his eyes. He was transferred to the clinic at Rajai Shahr prison on September 14, 2010. He was also transferred on numerous other occasions, but each time, he was not provided with proper medical care.
Despite Arzhang Davoudi’s extremely severe condition, at the clinic he was placed under pressure to sign a form which would assign him all responsibilities for the consequences of his hunger strike. He refused to sign the form while insisting to continue his hunger strike until all his demands are met.
On the morning of September 9th, Arzhang Davoudi was able to meet with his wife Nazanin Davoudi. One prison official [first] extensively searched Nazanin Davoudi using various scanning devices.
Arzhang Davoudi was brought into the visitation room in a wheelchair. His appearance was pale and thin. He is reported to be extremely weak and experiencing blurred vision. Azrhand Davoudi announced to his wife that he will continue his hunger strike until all his demands are met.
Arzhang Davoudi’s house was confiscated and sold based on an order by judge Haddad. Recently Nazanin Davoudi was interviewed by Radio Farda regarding the situation. She said, “Our house was both residential and also used as a school. The school’s name is Parto-e Hekmat Cultural Education Center [located in Tehran]. Many students studied there [and Arzhang Davoudi is the director of the school]. Our home was sealed off and parts of it were dug out for investigation purposes. At first we were told that our home would only be sealed off for a few days, but they sealed off the house for three years, and then we were told that, unfortunately, they sold our home. Whenever we inquire about the reasons why [our house was sold], we receive no response.”
Arzhang Davoudi was arrested in October 2002 on charges of “acting against national security” and “writing a secular manifesto for Iran.” He has been imprisoned ever since.

In the Name of God,
Dear Mr. Farhadi, Karaj’s Attorney General,
My last two letters of grievances and gravamina against director of Rajai Shahr prison Ali Hajkazem-copies of which are attached- were submitted to your office by my wife [Nazanin Davoudi] on February 20, 2010 and April 28, 2010 respectively. The letters were unfortunately shelved despite clear and explicit orders from the Attorney General and subsequent preliminary interrogations conducted by Mr. Mousavi, the magistrate supervising Karaj prisons. I would like to insist on the grievances I projected and once again emphasize on the points written in those letters.
That is why I present you the following points written in my own handwriting and signed by me so that legal procedures can follow:
Conscious and intentional participation of Ali Hajkazem in pillaging and robbing me and my family through:
1- The illegal transfer of me to Rajai Shahr prison on April 27, 2008 based on a fake letter from branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court which lacked any signature or official stamp. This branch had no jurisdiction over my case, because my case (number T/86/8983) was being dealt with in branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, headed by judge Salavati.
2-Imposing various immoral and illegal restrictions such as banning phone contacts to home, preventing family visits, and even forbidding the use of the prison’s library in spite of the fact that Ali Hajkazem was notified by Mr. Shahrokhi, the head of Prison Inspection, of the explicit order from higher authorities conceding such rights.
3-Attempts to make up frivolous legal cases against me and attempts to take advantage of the religious sentiments of the guards and prisoners in the month of Muharram to impassion them against and provoke them to kill me.
4-Prevention of dispatching any of my correspondences with the Judiciary and legal officials; in other words arbitrary confiscation of my letters. It must be noted that all the restrictions imposed still continue to this day after two years and four months. All the points made in this gravamen as well as previous grievances has been made possible by the assistance of the director’s assistants like Messrs. Alimohammadi, Azhir, Gerami, Saeedi (Head of section 6), etc.
5- Harassment of the family by first allowing a visit then preventing the visit once the family arrived from Tehran to Rajai Shahr, even when the family went through all the legal and inspection procedures. The family was brought to tears as a result. The last such incident took place on July 26, 2010 and under the pretext of my hunger strike. I was on my 16th day of hunger strike then. A written request for a visit was agreed to when I was on my 12th day of hunger strike.
6- Extreme lack of attention to my 52nd day of hunger strike-to which the director general of Tehran’s prisons can testify-and an explicit order by Hajkazem not to provide medical services to me. I have gone on hunger strike for two legal and minimal rights:
i) Use of the ward’s phone, like the other prisoners, without discrimination.
ii) Investigation and legal pursue of my grievances against Ali Hajkazem, the director of the prison.
7-Preventing the receiving of a radio despite written consent from the officials in charge, and notifying the family at the prison gates when the radio was already bought. The radio was destroyed under the pretext of inspecting it. The family bought and carried a new radio which has been unjustifiably confiscated for the past two years. This is while various services including radio are provided to common and servile prisoners.
8-Mismanagement of the prison and ineptitude in stopping traffic of narcotics and psychotropic pills into the prison. The smuggling has turned into a lucrative business of $2,000,000 per month. The profit is transferred out of prison (money laundering).
i) Each gram of crack costs USD $70 while the price per gram outside the prison is about USD $8.
ii) Each psychotropic pill costs about ¢o.50 inside the prison while the cost per pill outside the prison is at most ¢o.10.
iii) Taking bribes in return for granting legitimate and illegitimate vacation time to prisoners. There are very strong rumours that the bodies of dead prisoners are autopsied under medical pretexts and their body members and organs are sold without the consent of the deceased or their families. The families are not even informed that such acts have taken place. In this regard, some of the prison officials, including the prison director, have been questioned.
I hope that the director of Rajai Shahr prison Ali Hajkazem is examined carefully by psychologists and psychiatrists to determine whether he, in addition to physical problems such as limping and encephalitis, is also suffering from acute emotional and psychological disorders such as sadism.
I would request that given the previous grievances and my insistence on the points referred to above are investigated as soon as possible, and any delay in this regard be avoided.

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر- منابع خبری از درون زندان رجایی شهر کرج خبر از وضعیت جسمی بسیار وخیم و نگران کننده ارژنگ داوودی داده اند
این منابع خبری گزارش داده اند که شب گذشته آقای داوودی دچار هذیان گویی شده و از مرگ صحبت می کرده، ضمن اینکه وزن ایشان هم اکنون به 35 کیلو گرم کاهش پیدا کرده است.
بنا به گفته هم بندان وی ، این زندانی سیاسی هم اکنون 64 روز است که در اعتراض به قطع تلفن ها و عدم رسیدگی به شکایتش از حاج کاظم رئیس زندان رجایی شهر، وهمچنین مصادره و به فروش رساندن منزل شخصی اش توسط قوه قصاییه دست به اعتصاب غذا زده است.
این در حالی است که از 2 شب پیش تماسهای تلفنی آقای داوودی به حالت عادی برگشته، ولی وی تاکید کرده است تا رسیدن به تمامی خواسته هایش به اعتصاب غذا ادامه میدهد.
کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر از تمامی افرادی که نسبت به شرایط ارژنگ داوودی احساس نگرانی می کنند تقاضامند است، جهت حفظ جان این زندانی سیاسی و رساندن صدای ایشان به مجامع بین المللی حقوق بشری ما را یاری کنند.

Major Iranian Demonstration in New York Against Ahmadinejad’s Presence on 23 september 2010
Whereas the Iranian regime continues to defy United Nations resolutions and presses ahead with its anti-Iranian and inhumane nuclear weapons program;
Whereas the clerical dictatorship ruling Iran continues to export fundamentalism and terrorism abroad while meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, particularly in the Middle East, and threatens global peace and stability;
Whereas the inhuman regime issues death sentences, including death sentences by stoning, on a daily basis and carries out these punishments in public while refusing to spare even the lives of juveniles;
Whereas political prisoners are labeled as terrorists and mohareb (enemy of God) and sentenced to execution by the theocracy for merely participating in mass protests against the regime and for their belief in freedom and democracy;
Whereas a number of political prisoners have been sentenced to death simply for having relatives in Camp Ashraf, Iraq, where members of the Iranian opposition reside;
Whereas the freedom-seeking people of the world continue to express outrage over the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988, considered a crime against humanity, and voice support for the call by Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, to set up an international tribunal to try leaders of the regime for committing this heinous crime;
In view of the Iranian people’s courageous street protests with the chants of “Death to dictator” and “Down with the principle of absolute clerical rule,” which demonstrates their rejection of the regime in its entirety;
It would be utterly deplorable and unacceptable for the international community if the president of this despicable regime, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who does not represent the Iranian people, is welcomed at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The presence of the representative of the inhuman regime, which is a threat to global peace and stability, at the UN headquarters is completely unacceptable for us and so we urge that his visit to New York be prevented.
We also call for the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s delegation from the United Nations because they do not deserve to be among the family of nations.
We invite all freedom-seeking people of the world and defenders of democracy to join a major demonstration to be held by Iranians in New York in order to show your opposition to Ahmadinejad’s presence at the UN General Assembly and in the New York City while at the same time expressing your solidarity with the arisen people of Iran and their main opposition movement.

امروز خبر درگذشت دوست نازنینم ستار را شنیدم و از درد بخود پیچیدم. ستار را از راه دور میشناختم و هیچگاه فرصت نشده بود که از نزدیک ببینمش. هر وقت که مطلبی مینوشتم، چند خطی صمیمانه و بی ریا برایم مینوشت و کنارش به مهر گلی ضمیمه میکرد. کلماتش پر از مهر و صفا بود. به کلمات وایمیل هایش دل بسته بودم و به مهر و محبت بی پایانش. با هم در موارد مختلف نامه نگاری و همفکری میکردیم. با اینکه از او دور بودم ولی افکارش را بسیار بخودم نزدیک میدیدم. امروز نامه هایش را جلوی خود گذاشته ام و می گریم . در سوگ مردی که قلب معصوم یک کودک را در سینه داشت. میگویند انسانهای بزرگ قلب کودکیشان را حفظ میکنند و ستار این گونه بود. قلبم از رفتنش بیتاب شده است و خود را سرزنش میکنم که چرا همت نکردم به دیدنش بروم؟ میدانستم که از یکسال پیش درگیر سرطانی بی رحم شده است. ولی هرگز فکر نمیکردم به این زودی از دستش بدهیم. این اواخر برایش نامه ای نوشته بودم که وضعیتش را بپرسم برخلاف همیشه که زود و مهربان جواب میداد، جوابی نداده بود. نگران بودم. امروز به دوستی زنگ زدم . از او خبر پرواز ستار را شنیدم و خسته و اشک آلود برجا ماندم. ستار صاف و ساده و بی ریا بود و همه را بی ریا دوست میداشت. و من با تمام قلبم دوستش داشتم. امشب سرگردانم و نمیدانم چه بنویسم. چگونه او را به تصویر بکشم. دوستی از راه دور را که حتی یکبار فرصت نکرده بودم دست های پر مهرش را بفشارم. چقدر زندگی آنهایی که بی انتها خوب هستند کوتاه میباشد.
ستار سال 1325 در تربت حیدریه چشم به جهان گشوده بود و زمانی که چشم از جهان فرو بست فقط 64 سال داشت. کار مطبوعاتی ستار با مجله تهران مصور در زمانی که دانشجوی دانشگاه تهران بود آغاز شد. بعد از تعطیلی این مجله سردبیری مجله کودک و زندگی را به عهده گرفت. ستار قبل از انقلاب عضو هیأت مدیره و نایب رئیس سندیکای نویسندگان ایران بود. بعد از انقلاب به مدت دو هفته دستگیر شد و بعد از آزادی به لندن رفت و دیگر هرگز به ایران آخوند زده پا نگذاشت. در لندن ضمن برپایی یک چاپخانه انتشاراتی سه هفته نامه ی ندا، پیام و فریاد آزادی را منتشر نمود و عضو هیئت مدیره کانون نویسندگان در تبعید و انجمن قلم بود. از ستار لقایی مجموعه داستانهای بلند و کوتاهی بویژه برای کودکان بجا مانده است. او که علاقه ی خاصی در نوشتن داستان برای کودکان داشت. روحیات خودش نیز مثل یک کودک صاف و شفاف بود. با قلب بزرگ و مهربانی که به همه یاری میرساند. میگفتند که در چاپخانه اش اکثرا از دوستانش پول چاپ نمیگرفت. ستار با اینکه به لحاظ سیاسی بسیار مستقل بود ولی همیشه برای همبستگی نیروهای مخالف رژیم در جهت مبارزه تلاش میکرد. و ما دوست و یاری را از دست داده ایم که جایش پرشدنی نیست. یاد ستار لقایی گرامی و روحش شاد باد که میدانم غم نبودنش برای بسیاری سنگین خواهد بود. ستار هم در تبعید رفت و سرنگونی این رژیم ضد انسانی را ندید. باشد که در ایران آزاد فردا آنگونه که شایسته است در میان مردم ایران یادش را گرامی بداریم. اما امشب قلب من در تنهایی بیاد ستار میگرید.

But during the visit of so called university students (as majority of Iran students are against Khamenei and they are afraid of the bad publicity their speech may cause, they just invite Basijis who mainly might not be even an university student to these visits) with Khamenei, one of them gave a serious political speech against Ahmadinejad which surely was written by Ayatollah's advisers and was followed by cheers of visitors!
The complications between Ahmadinejad and Khamenei publicly was started from the last year when Khamenei ordered him to depose Mashaei his vise councilor but even after Khamenei publicly gave the order Ahmadinejad defied his order.
